We have a bed planted with over 20 cultivars of lupins to display and trial the plants. The lupins are at their best in late June.
There is normally a potted selection of these cultivars offered for sale. These are grown in 3 litre pots.
Some hybridising is undertaken using these superior plants and the resulting seedlings are grown on. Promising seedlings are trialled and evaluated in the lupin bed with a view to introducing new cultivars. Seedlings are offered for sale.
